Cost of MBBS in Germany:
German MBBS is affordable even with language and living expenses after comparing it with other countries like the UK, the USA, and Australia. If you compare it with Pakistan then I think it approximately cost the same. MBBS in Pakistan costs approximately 40 to 45 thousand euros in a private college. But in Germany, it cost approximately 50 to 55 thousand euros. In which students can save half of the amount by working part-time.
German language up to C1 level cost around 3600 euros in Germany. Both Studienkolleg and MBBS are free. Living expenses from language learning to MBBS cost around 48,000 euros. Calculation of these costs split like this:
German language fee: 600* euros per level
A1 to C1: 600 x 5 = 3000*
All Exam Fee: 600*
Living expenses: 6000* per year
Total duration: 1 year language + 1 year Studienkolleg + 6 years MBBS = 8 years
Grand Total: 3600+48000 = 51600* euros*approximately (cost of language courses and living expenses can be less of more in different cities.)
Students cannot work during their studies in Pakistan. But part-time work is possible in Germany along with studies or in semester breaks. Students allowed to work 120 full or 240 half days in a year. Students can easily earn 4 to 5 thousand euros per year with a part-time job. These part-time earnings help students to save some money and fulfill all the above-mentioned expenses that make MBBS more affordable as compare to Pakistan.
